The Easy Walk range of products is a line of prefabricated orthoses made of carbon fibre through the employment of "pre-preg" technology.

Current prices for the Easy Walk range of carbon fibre AFO`s  is one of the most cost effective on the market today using todays pre-preg technology.

The "ECO" version AFO-10E is produced by combing carbon fibre with other composite materials, therefore it is the most cost effective carbon fibre AFO from the Easy Walk range. Comparison tests have confirmrd that this product has kept the functionality and comfort of the pure carbon fibre version, with the exception of a slight difference in weight.

ECO AFOECO AFO

 

The "ECO" version is solid, very light and functional. one of the main properties of the AFO is the "spring" effect, which facilitates walking to a great extent, this is due to lower resilience of composite materials, the "spring" effect here is slightly softer if compared to other pure carbon fibre afos, and this could be an advantage for many patients.

This orthoses is adapted to the same size of footwear usally worn by the patient and owing to its thin structure it is barely visable under clothing. A simple velcro calf strap allows fastening with just one hand.

 

 

 

Indications:

  • Drop foot secondary to neurological pathologies;
  • Foot and calf extensors after operation;
  • Ankle arthritis

Contraindications:

  • Calf varicose
  • Inflammatory lesion of calf skin
  • Oedema
  • Severe ankle and foot deformities

Customers please note: The ECO AFO10-E is a prefabricated orthosis and might require individual adjustment to fit in to the patient`s shoe, this can be done by simply cutting the sole part scissors, this is a great advantage when seeing patients in the hospital. The patented Y-shaped calf section is easily adjusted with the strap to any size of the calf, even the big one. The orthosis can be adapted to the patient with the body weight up to 120kg.

Stability AFOStability AFOThe "Stability" version AFO-10T is designed to provide dynamic assistance with ankle instability control. With the three-point fixationsystem (ankle, calf and foot), medial-lateral as well as rotational control of the foot and ankle conplex is fully controlled.

 The "Stability" AFO is manufactured by combiningcarbon fibre withother composite materials, therefore it is a solid , very light and functional. One of the great advantages of this AFO is the "energy return" effect which facilitates walking to a great extent. The specific design of the support strut on the "Stability" AFO allows maximum force distribution and energy return during gait.
