It has a 2mm carbon infused thermoplastic shell offering good shock absorption while retaining excellent pronation resistance. It has a 4 degree extrinsic medial heel post and thin shock absorbing cover. The foot orthosis comes with 4 durable self-adhesive wedges which can be used for further correction of the hind/forefoot. They can also be as a heel raises where required.
This product is easily modified in clinic with the self-adhesive posts and the shells shape can be modified gently with a heat gun to accommodate plantar bony prominences in the midfoot.
